Welcome, darlings…

I am so very glad you have found my new little project.

Today is January 30, 2025… The last 10 days have been terrifying, and I am more grateful than ever to be living in the insulated queer paradise that is Northampton, MA. I am a queer woman with very close ties to the trans community, and I know my family is as safe as we possibly can be here… at least without leaving the country. Even as things inevitably get darker, I believe in my local community. I know we will fight back and take care of each other. And I feel like my part in that is this blog – a place to share all of the fun events that I find happening around the valley, places where we can gather and seek connection and joy as much as possible. Remember, joy is resistance! So this is me, doing my part.

It is my goal to scour the internet and local community resources for events and gatherings in the area that my community may be interested in. I will also be gathering information on local businesses and organizations that could be helpful for folks to know right now. Please know that I do my best to ensure that everything promoted on this blog is aligned with my personal values, which are listed below and on the About page. For example, everything I post will be queer-friendly, even if it is not exclusively for queer folks. I will do my due diligence to make sure I don’t send you anywhere you are not welcome. I am also very open to feedback if anyone has info they would like to share with me. There will be an anonymous feedback form soon.

All information and opinions shared on this blog are solely mine, and I receive no compensation for anything I promote or post. I may eventually offer sponsorship opportunities to local businesses/orgs, but sponsorships will be clearly stated for transparency.
